We focus on the high end and mid-range markets so only produce premium quality rattan reed sticks for worldwide clients.

As an ISO9001:2015 certified company, we have a comprehensive quality system to control the whole production process of rattan reed sticks.

- Quality System

With the application of detailed quality control plans, we control the quality from the beginning to the end. The whole quality system including,

- IQC: the quality inspection of every batch of incoming materials
- IPQC: process quality control & inspection for every production step
- FQC: final quality inspection of each shipment

Our QCs carry out regular inspections with detailed and strict internal standards.

- Raw materials

1) Rattan:

High quality products always begin with high quality raw materials. We import premium quality raw rattan poles only from kalimantan, Indonesia which area the world`s best rattan is native to. The moderate density of Kalimantan rattan affords the excellent diffusion performance. In comparison, the diffusion performance of Vietnam rattan or Malaysia rattan are worse, because of low density (Vietnam rattan) and high density (Malaysia rattan). 2) Dyes:

Only high quality reactive dyes are used in our dyeing process of colored rattan reed sticks. We are the unique factory in the world to produce colored rattan reed sticks with reactive dyes. On the contrary, all other factories use basic dyes. The differences of reactive dyes & basic dyes as below,

3) Quality grades: AA, A
4) Diameter: 2mm - 6mm (common diameters: 2mm, 2.5mm, 2.75mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm)
5) Diameter Tolerance: +/-0.1mm
6) Length: 5cm - 500cm
7) Length Tolerance: +/-4mm
8) Moisture rate: <15%

We import premium quality raw rattan poles only from kalimantan, Indonesia which area the world`s best rattan is native to. With the same raw rattan poles, we still have 2 different quality grades to meet different cost demands:

- Quality grade AA
- Quality grade A

It could be simply understood that, quality grade AA is well chosen from quality grade A.

The differences of quality grade AA & quality grade A as below,
1) Roundness: the roundness of quality grade AA is better than quality grade A
2) Surface: the surface of quality grade AA is better than quality grade A, much less flaws such as stains
3) Color: the color of quality grade AA is premium white, but the color of quality grade A is sometimes partial yellow or partial red
4) Performance: the diffusing performance of quality grade AA is 5-10% faster than quality grade A
5) Price: the price of quality grade A is 8-15% lower than quality grade AA

Besides natural color rattan reed sticks, we have developed advanced technology to dye the rattan with reactive dyes to multiple colors exactly according to clients` request. We are able to produce the colors according to color samples or just a Pantone color number.

We have 2 types of colored rattan reed sticks for different types of diffuser liquids to assure exactly no color bleeding in the diffuser liquids: type A (oil type) & type B (water/alcohol type). Below is the chart of performance regarding color bleeding in different diffuser liquids:

It is comparatively easy to produce color type A, using reactive dyes with standard dyeing process; but it requires much more complicated addtional color fixing processes to produce color type B. Therefore, the price of color type B is higher than color type A.
